Cycle phases are labeled on the timeline as EF (early follicular), PO (preovulatory), MP (mid cycle-peak), L (luteal), PM (post menopausal), and P (pregnant, peak levels). The levels of the estrogens estrone, estradiol, and estriol (E1, E2, and E3, respectively) are shown for females (♀) and males (♂)
